Soccer mom!

At first you were a bit reluctant . . .

But you got the hang of it . . .

The the coach asked you to take a knee and you were lost again . ..

Love you sweetheart! This was your first "team" practice ever. You are playing in the 3-year-old "joy" soccer league in Homewood. At first you were really shy and nervous. All you wanted to do was go to the playground. Then, mom and dad gave you a little space to interact with the other kids and really enjoyed it! You also had the best suggestion for a team name -- The Rainbows -- you got the most votes but the Coach decided to go with the second most votes --- The Strikers. I think he thought the boys would not like being called the Rainbows very much. But. I (and the other girls on your team) thought it was the best idea. Regardless, very proud of you for speaking up.

Lesson from Lindy: Give people some space, and you'll be surprised at what they can do when they are making their own decisions.

First visit to the dentist

You were a rockstar! So brave and SO polite. Even though we all know the dentist can be no fun, I was amazed at how gracious you were today. It seemed as if you knew Dr Baldone (who has been moms dentist since I was your age) had a job to do, and you took it like a big girl. I learned a bit from you today -- grace when in an ungraceful or uncomfortable situation is always better than the alternative. Thanks for msking mom and dads job so easy little girl.
