Beach Trip - October 2013

Hello daughter! For the second time in your life mom and dad took you beachside. Your first trip was to Destin, FL at 8 months. This one was right at 3 years and we headed for the much quieter Orange Beach, FL this time. A few VERY big things about this trip. First, you learned to SWIM! By yourself! Le-Le had been secretly putting you in private lessons, but your Dad and I were completely blown away when you hopped into that water and swam almost 20 yards ALL BY YOURSELF! In case you are wondering, 3 is a pretty early age to start swimming. We are SO proud of you. Here is a video of the first time I saw you swim: Lindy can swim! 

Turns out you are just a water bug baby . . .

The beach was also special because your Dad's parents (Gran and Grandad came). We all had a great time. The weather was perfect and it was just a fantastic get away. You did great in the sand, great in the pool, and even got in the ocean. Love you girl. Just LOOK at you. First Dance Class - Fall 2013

Pictures speak for themselves here. But, I do have to say how wonderful you are in the class. You pay such special attention to your teacher and do exactly as she says. I am very proud of your behavior in class and hope it continues to your school years!

Tailgating 2013 (Roll Tide!)

Per usual, you had a great time this year tailgating on the quad. We tailgated with the Rama Jama Group this year. It was a lot of fun. Allison, Chase and Joe were our best tailgating buddies!

3 year checkup!

Just perfect baby! Dr. McCain was SO impressed with you! She could not believe how intelligent you are and how sweet. Great visit. Healthy baby girl!

Haloween 2013

Get the feeling this was my last year to keep the animal theme going (See Cow, Giraffe, Unicorn). You only agreed to be a unicorn (versus the preferred princess) when I told you the unicorn was purple. . .

Lindy Turns Three

We have a bit of a quiet birthday for you this year. Quiet but lovely. Your grandparents were there (both pairs!) and we invited the Flanagans (Kathleen) and the Sloans (Cobb) and AA out for an afternoon at Old Baker Farm pumpkin patch. You had a great time.

Happy birthday to my too too beautiful, kind, loving, intelligent little lady. You amaze me with your kind spirit, humility and desire to please. Wise beyond your years. I thank God every day that of all the little girls in the world, YOU are MINE!
