Sweet Summertime

Sweet summertime, and sweet Lindy. At 20 months old our girl is a ball of energy and loads of laughs. She is so articulate, and will attempt to say just about anything you ask her to. This weekend Elise and Preston Lee (Dr Lee to Lindy) came for a visit from Oxford. Such a blessing to have sweet friends that stand the test of time! We are enjoying life in our new house, though I constantly feel like there is something we just HAVE to have to improve the place.Anyone ever outfitted a house with drapes? Holy moly. I might as well take out another mortgage.

So, we have a milestone this week. We are leaving Lindy for the longest time ever. Weds - Monday and traveling to Antigua in the BVI for a college friends wedding. We are excited to get away (read: MAMA needs a break) but not so much from Lindy. More from work, the stress of the move, Lindy is FUN.  While it will be nice to actually read a book, or enjoy a meal with out the "mommy, mommy, mommy" to which I have grown accustomed, I am pretty sure that about 24 hours into the trip I will be sorely missing my little bug.  Lindy will stay with her Le-Le with assistance from nanny Heather, who has now been with us over a year! Hard to believe how time flies with a little one.
