Your adorable little fetus is busy with thumb sucking, toe wiggling, and (not so cute but equally amazing) making urine and breathing amniotic fluid as the liver, kidneys and spleen continue to develop. Lanugo(thin, downy hair) is growing all over the body for warmth.
Other notables, James parents arrived today from South Africa. We are looking forward to a nice visit with them. They get to stay 3.5 weeks this time, and thankfully we have plenty of room for them in the new pad.
Next doctors appointment in less than 2 weeks (4/27) but I also have a call into Virginia College to see about a free gender ultrasound. Super ready to say hello to a little guy or gal not Baby W or ugh, "it".
Body-wise, feeling okay. I didn't feel pregnant at all at the start of the week then the last few days, wham! Belly. Kinda nice, kinda feel fat. Have gained about 5 pounds, I guess thats normal. Still trying to run 2-3 every day - though more walking than before! No movement yet, other than gender that is what I am really looking forward to.
Welcome to America Willcox's!!
